We do have wolverines in Wyoming, but not many. They range very widely, move constantly, and live in the toughest country available. They are remarkable animals. I've only seen a couple in my life. One was in the Yukon, and he was running very fast across a distant slope. I didn't have a decent camera in those days, but I do have an almost crystal-clear mental "movie" of him rolling across the tundra slope. I used that memory to capture the action in this composition.
