We are lucky to have lots of pronghorns in Wyoming. They are extremely interesting animals, and like all the ungulates, the bucks can fight ferociously during the rut. They will also run for milesto chase off rivals for their bands of does. The does are extremely uncooperative - they wander about freely, and the poor bucks literally exhaust themselves trying to keep them together. This painting was chosen for the Top 100 of the "Paint the Parks" contest.
