Elk can often be found on the flat bench on the south end of Blacktail Butte in Grand Teton Park. The Tetons make a magnificent backdrop for these magnificent creatures. During the fall rut, the bulls spend their time trying to gather, and keep together, bunches of cows, and it's a tough job.
