This small painting was prepared for a sporting art show. Any hunter who hunts with a dog will tell you that partnership is by far the best part of hunting. Waterfowlers generally pride themselves on how much suffering they can do, but I moderated this a bit with some sunrise, rather than a driving rain or snowstorm pelting the hunter and dog in the face. I had to step in as the model for this one!
