This was a commissioned painting for an old friend from high school in Colorado. She was very specific about what she wanted - a fall aspen grove, with a path, rocks, flowers, evidence of a passing rain, and some Stellars and Grey Jays (hence the title) - all memories of hiking through fall aspen groves with her father. We wove it all together, and it was a very fun project.
