We raft a LOT on the Snake River in the summer and fall. This place is south of Jackson, at a right turn known as "Elbow". The hillside in the distance on the right burned several years ago, but the cottonwoods and conifers on the left bank are just gorgeous. The views on the river are all superior, but this is one of my favorites, and I just had to get it down in paint.
