I was asked to do a demo plein aire painting and mini-class in Grand Teton Park. I chose this location so it would be easy for students to meet - the Windy Point turnout on the main park road. The Tetons were of course the dominant feature, but if one looked to the southeast, a part of Blacktail Butte and Jackson Peak were so arresting, I decided to paint this view.
